Pretty much all of the northbound lanes on the 405 Freeway will be closed for 80 hours this President’s Day weekend as workers re-pave and re-stripe the freeway surface. The work and closures are set to begin around 10am on Friday February 14th and should end by 6am Tuesday February 18th.

Two northbound lanes are said to be open during work hours but all lanes will be closed in the evening. Obviously it would be in the interest of pure sanity to avoid this area at all costs during this period. Good luck and stay safe out there!
